According to the Newspaper of Construction – On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on 10 January 2025, Vice Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha and the delegates of Vietnam Construction Trade Union visited and expressed Happy New Year wishes to officers, engineers, workers and all laborers of VNCN Engineering Construction and Investment Joint Stock Corporation working on the construction site of North – South expressway project, Van Phong – Nha Trang section.
In the event, Vice Minister Pham Minh Ha showed his deep sympathy with the labors of VNCN E&C for their difficulties in working on the construction site, especially in the traditional Tet of the country, at the same time encouraged the spirit of the workers. On the occasion of the Tet, Vice Minister Pham Minh Ha and the leadership of Vietnam Construction Trade Union presented 100 gifts (each valued 1,000,000 VND) and sent wishes of good health, safety, unity and successful completion of tasks of the year 2025 to all officers, engineers, workers and laborers of VNCN E&C.
VNCN E&C is the contractor of Package XL01 Van Phong – Nha Trang expressway construction project with value of 874 billion VND. At present, on the construction site, there are more than 130 engineers and workers together with over 30 equipment and machines working to ensure the progress. The completed works include: 08 bridges, more than 60 underpasses and culverts of various types. The asphalt concrete work has been carried out on the remaining stations. Besides, the construction of auxiliary works such as drainage and traffic safety has been also carried out at the same time.
After 24 months of construction, the package has reached 81% of the Contract progress. This result is achieved thanks to the close cooperation of relevant parties and continuous efforts of engineers and workers of VNCN E&C. During the implementation, the contractor has been coping with a number of challenges such as adverse weather, complicated topography, etc., however, timely solutions have been provided to overcome.
In the coming time, the construction of remaining works including asphalt concrete, longitudinal drainage system, traffic safety, etc. shall be sped up to complete and hand over the package on 30 April 2025.
