On 11th December 2015, Vinaconex E&C is among Enterprises who honorably received President Commendation from the President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the development of society and the economy of the country.
VINACONEX E&C had undertaken and successfully completed construction project of Nhat Tan Bridge (Vietnam-Japan Friendship Bridge), which is one of three projects funded by ODA loans in the transport sector in Vietnam. The ceremony was solemnly held at Hanoi Nikko Hotel, with the participation of Minister of Transport Mr. Dinh La Thang and representatives of implementing agencies, Consultant and Contractors involved in these three projects.
This award is extremely prestigious and honor which is annually organized for solemnly awarding to the JICA’s project contributor(s) across the globe; acknowledging the valuable contributions of the project, groups or individuals for economic and social development in the host country.
Projects, individuals and Enterprises of developing countries are selected to this dedication award including Vietnam, Nepal, Cambodia, India, Ethiopia, Chile, Bangladesh and Jordan. Three projects in Vietnam were honored for creating a new international gateway to Hanoi, including: (1) T2 Station – Noi Bai International Airport (2) Nhat Tan Bridge (Vietnam-Japan Friendship Bridge) and (3) linking road between Noi Bai International Airport and Nhat Tan Bridge.
03 Japanese contractors and 01 Vietnamese contractor participated in construction of Nhat Tan Bridge. Vinaconex Corporation is the sole Vietnamese contractor involved in the project as the main contractor and Vinaconex E&C directly executed whole work load.
