HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT (HSE) POLICY

The Director of VNCN E&C confirms that the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy is the general direction and principle for carrying out the business’ activities related to occupational health, safety and environment.

The spirit of VNCN E&C’s HSE Policy is to prevent and in long-term future to eliminate any damage related to People, Assets and Environment in the business’ activities, and to satisfy the increasingly high demands of our clients.

In order to meet the above targets, VNCN E&C commits to establish and maintain a Health, Safety and Environment Management System that:

– complies with the laws and regulations on environmental protection, occupational health and safety and other relating requirements;

– fulfills requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015 Specifications;

– Constantly apply advanced science and technology, promote technical innovations, use economically natural resources, prevent environmental pollution, build a safe working environment, prevent any risk of safety, strengthen occupational health for employees and related parties;

– is revised periodically and developed continuously;

Every group and individual of VNCN E&C bears responsible for develop and maintain together with the business’ leadership the Safety – Quality – Efficiency Culture to implement successfully the HSE Policy.

AN OVERVIEW OF HSE SYSTEM

In order to implement successfully the HSE Policy, VNCN E&C establishes and maintains a Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System based on OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 14001: 2015 specifications which are suitable for organizations operating in investment and construction fields.

By applying OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 specifications, VNCN E&C has committed to consider the health and safety of people. That also shows VNCN E&C ’s social responsibility in environmental protection.

VNCN E&C’s TARGETED STANDARDS

OHSAS 18001:2007 Defines risks in occupational health and safety, at the same time introduces controlling measures in compliance with current relevant laws and regulations in order to ensure the health and safety of people as well as prevent property damages.

ISO 14001:2015 Defines risks in the environment which may be caused by manufacturing and trading activities, and introduces controlling measures in compliance with current laws and regulations on environment to minimize impacts on the environment.

HSE CERTIFICATES OBTAINED BY VNCN E&C

VNCN E&C acknowledges that safety is the vital matter of the company. Therefore, in 2014 VNCN E&C started to apply and build an Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System following OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015 Specifications. TQCS International (Group) Pty Ltd – the leading Australian organization for certification of management systems assessed and registered VNCN E&C as having the HSE Management System complying with the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015.

Being aware that environment is the wide social matter, VNCN E&C has applied an environment management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 standard in order to control and minimize impacts during the business’ activities on the environment, which will be a basis for sustainable development. The environment management system in line with ISO 14001:2015 standard is integrated with the occupational health and safety management system of OHSAS 18001:2007 to become a Health Safety and Environment Management System. This integrated system helps reduce the quantity of documents and is easy to apply.

The Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System is in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 (Certificate Ref. No. VN1026-EC-SC) and ISO 14001:2015 (Certificate Ref. No. VN1026-EC-SC) which were issued by TQCS International (Group) Pty Ltd. in the 2^nd Quarter of 2014 for Management and Construction of civil engineering, industrial and infrastructure projects; Investment of real estate; Consultancy of project management. That is VNCN E&C ’s message on our cares of safety and health of people as well as our responsibilities towards the society for environmental protection.
