On July 21st, 2025, Project Management Unit My Thuan (PMU My Thuan) held a Contract Signing Ceremony with Dongbu – VNCN E&C Joint Venture to implement Package No. 07: Construction of My An – Cao Lanh Expressway, My An – Cao Lanh Expressway Construction Project Phase 1

The project has an estimated route length of 26.6 km: The starting point connects the expressway with road N2 at about Km96+875 (road N2) in My An town, Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province; The end point is at An Binh intersection (Cao Lanh bridge end) in Cao Lanh district, Dong Thap province. The expressway is designed according to expressway standards with a scale of 6 traffic lanes and 2 emergency lanes. The total investment of the project is VND 6,127 billion from ODA loan from the Korean Government and counterpart funds from the Vietnamese Government.
Package No. 07: Construction of My An – Cao Lanh Expressway using ODA capital and counterpart capital with a value of KRW 30 billion and VND 3,507 billion, the package implementation time is 1,075 days with main work items: Construction of the entire route including Design of construction drawings; Ensuring road and waterway traffic safety during construction; Construction insurance.
At the Contract Signing Ceremony, the representative of Dongbu – VNCN E&C Joint Venture, Mr. Nguyen Tri Dung, Director of VNCN E&C, committed to implementing the project immediately after signing the contract with the spirit of “speedy battle, quick victory, weathering the storm”. With the great challenge of loading time and soft soil treatment, Dongbu – VNCN E&C Joint Venture committed to making efforts to construct quickly and effectively. Thanks to the careful preparation from the Employer, especially the source of sand materials, the construction time is expected to be shortened to about 30 months so that the expressway can be put into operation quickly, bringing convenience to the people and contributing to the overall development of the Dong Thap region and the Mekong Delta.
