ROAD CONNECTING TRAN THUONG TEMPLE (HA NAM PROVINCE) AND TRAN TEMPLE (NAM ĐINH PROVINCE)

   The project on investment of a road connecting from National Highway No. 1A intersecting with Cau Gie – Ninh Binh expressway by Liem Son intersection, through Binh Luc district, intersecting with NH.21A, NH.21B, road connecting Ha Noi – Hai Phong and Ha Noi – Ninh Binh expressways; Connecting two special national relics namely Tran Thuong Temple (in Ha Nam province) and historical – cultural relic site Tran Temple (in Nam Dinh province), contributing to open a new gateway connecting Nam Dinh province with the provinces of Ha Nam, Hung Yen, Thai Binh and Northern provinces, the spiritual tourism route between Tran Thuong Temple in Ha Nam province and Tran dynasty cultural relic site in Nam Dinh province, creating a new chance for developing the socio-economy of Nam Dinh city and Ly Nhan district.

 The construction investment project has the total length of 48 km connecting from National Highway No. 1A intersecting with Cau Gie – Ninh Binh expressway by Liem Son intersection, through Binh Luc district, intersecting with NH.21A, NH.21B, road connecting Ha Noi – Hai Phong and Ha Noi – Ninh Binh expressways; Connecting two special national relics namely Tran Thuong Temple (in Ha Nam province) and historical – cultural relic site Tran Temple (in Nam Dinh province). VNCN Engineering Construction and Investment Joint Stock Corporation (VNCN E&C) has been awarded Contract Package No. 18: Construction of Line 2 (including traffic safety security cost and other related costs) – Phase 1 with the contract value of VND 769,609,925,000 to be implemented in 18 months.

The Works are planned having the scales as below:

  • – Road construction:
  • + Total length of the Line: about 14.65Km
  • + The project connecting the regions has the scale of plain road class III (designed according to standards for highway code TCVN 4054-2005), asphalt concrete pavement structure with designed velocity of V = 80km/h. On the route to build one bridge over Nhu Trac river (Long Xuyen).
  • + The start point Km0+00 connecting with PR.499 in Chan Ly commune, Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province. The section from Km0+00 to Km9+500: Construct 02 roads at 02 sides; the width of road embankment is 23m; the width of road pavement is 21m; the width of soil shoulder is 2m. The median strip of 34m wide is the reserved land to plant trees.
  • + The end point Km14+650 connecting with NH.38B (about Km79+330 of 38B (in Hoa Hau commune, Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province). The section from Km9+500 to Km14+650: construct 01 road to the right hand side having width of 11.5m, the road pavement width is 10.5m and the soil shoulder is 1.0m.
  • – Bridge construction: at Km2+867.09
  • + Length of bridge L = 51.20m
  • + The superstructure consists of two parallel modules locating 34m apart. Each module consists of 11 main girders having height of 55m.
  • + The substructure: Foundation of bored piles D = 0m. Each abutment has 4 bored piles D =1.0m having tentative length from 54m to 55m. The pier structure is cast-in-situ reinforced concrete. Each pier has 3 bored piles having tentative length of 60m.
